sometimes it feels like girls like me live in a hidden subdimension. we blend in well. too well maybe. mtv on the outside, sylvia plath on fire inside. lilith fair and arsenic sweet. it's not something i'd like to proclaim for the sake of proclaiming, but here and now, this is what i am. in this white silence, at least i am free here amongst others
