one of my wisdom teeth started coming in a few years ago. when it did, it gave me really bad headaches. once they went away, it didn't really bother me. every now and then my gums around it would get a little puffy and it would cause a little discomfort, but nothing like what i'm feeling now. the left side of my mouth is swollen and i can barely ( Read more... )

So far no one is giving you actual real information, so assuming you haven't looked this up yet, here you go:

$2 Million Awards to Primary Care Associations

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) announced grants totaling $2 million to help Primary Care Associations (PCAs) support and strengthen health centers in communities across the nation. State PCAs that received the grants are in: CT, HI, LA, MA, MI, MS, MT, NJ, NM, NY, OR, PR, UT, VA, WI and WY. Grants were also given to the Mid-Atlantic Association of Community Health Centers and the Bi-State Primary Care Association, Inc. in Concord, NH. PCA's are private, non-profit state and regional organizations whose members include health centers and other safety-net providers. is that the same one that costs $35 a week? i know mitt romney just passed a health care law that allows you to get coverage for $35 a week. it's taken out of your paycheck before taxes, so you actually end up paying less. i was considering getting it myself. i was rejected by masshealth, and having gone to the emergency room last week, i think i need insurance.

I'm not positive. All I know how to do is find the information, but because I have insurance, I really don't know much about it. I urge you and Sara to give them a call, though, and track down a CHC or PCA in your area/the Boston area. It might require a little trip (which, in emergency room cases might not be wise), but for general practice and dental, etc..., it'd be very smart ( ... )

i was rejected by masshealth awhile ago. i am not at the "poverty level". although, they just came out with a new plan where they pay a certain portion of the bills. i need to look into that. i have the card for the advisor at the hospital, but i haven't had a chance to follow up on it. i technically can afford medical care, but if something major happened, i couldn't. my doctor just retired. she used to give me cheap appointments and samples for my meds. i don't like asking for help from the state if i don't need it, too many people do that. unfortunatly, the job i love doesn't offer health insurance and forces me to go to school only part time.
