today was a really good day for some reason. my morning was super. i got a really good night's sleep for once and i did not have to rush to get ready for school. in fact, i had extra time to read an issue of People =) i was so hyper all day it was insane.
i had to write a poem for english.
MY HEART SHOUTS.
My heart shouts,
It's calling out your name.
A silent scream of want and desire,
My cries fall on deafened ears.
Our worlds collide,
But this distance remains.
We're living day by day,
Side by side, yet still apart,
In this comatose existence.
(We're hopelessly tragic.)
I long to just reach out and hold you,
And feel you hold me back.
Is your heart shouting too?
My heart shouts to be heard,
Over the echoes of the words you say.
I want to tell you tales of the ocean,
Storming deep inside of me.
(It storms whenever you are near.)
My heart is draining
Into a sea of desperation.
The tides rise up and swallow me whole,
I'm drowning in you.
My heart shouts for you to rescue me,
But you're too far off to hear.
Won't you save me please?
I need you now more than ever.
(Can you hear me scream?)
one week until the washington dc trip!!
