Okay, so. Anybody who still reads this and/or gives a shit, I have a question for you.

Should I apply early decision to Oberlin?

They sent me an application today and I have the option of applying early decision there, which would bind me into going there next year. The only problem with that is if they don't give me enough money, then I am ( Read more... )

Early decision does NOT bind you into going to Oberlin if the financial aid isn't adequate. You have an escape clause. Ask the admissions office if you're not sure about this.

Really? I didn't know that. I could have sworn that it was binding no matter what, but if it's not this changes so many things! Thanks for the info. Who is this?

Oh, I do have plenty of time. I just brought it up because, well, the application came today and I sorta geeked out.

I'm visiting you next year, and you can visit here with me. By the way, if you need *anything* at college let me know. My mom can be total crazy college mom and get you food if you like. Hell, she got my cousin Susana Easter Bags when we visited.
