Chapter 5
First Quarter
In a nightclub, colorful lights are flashing on. Loud musics are
playing nonstop, people are squeezing, dancing drinking some even
kissing, sucking each others' tongue and do anything they want to enjoy them self.
Donghae sat on the corner,sipping on his glass of alcohol. He was wearing a suit. His Boss said that he have some 'important talk' to discuss with him today and he's waiting for him now since he came a bit too early.
"Donghae! Are you alone?" A woman came and sit next to him. Donghae think for a bit then he just nodded.
She smiled before dragging Donghae into one of the empty room, then pushes him down to the bed and kiss him on the neck.
But he suddenly turned his face away, as images started to flashed into his mind.
"What's wrong?" she asked. Her voice filled with confusion.
"Sorry, nothing," he said. He rubbed his face with his hands, trying to clear his mind. Thinking that at least he should just enjoy it, as he saw the woman taking a condom out of her bag and taking her own clothes off.
He laid his head on to the pillow, closed his eyes and tried to relax.
When suddenly, the images comes back. But now, he can seethem clearly and they were the images of what he saw yesterday.
Hyukjae's crying and hurting on the bed.
"Donghae.... don't leave me alone."
He opened his eyes immediately and quickly get out of the bed and fixed his clothes.
"What was that!?" the woman screamed out in anger. "Are you refusing me!?"
"I'm sorry, I..I have to go now" he said before quickly walked out of the room and he could see that his Boss has already arrived and is
searching for him. But Donghae just quickly walked out of the building
back into his car and drove off. His mind can only think about one
person right now.
Hyukjae's looking at himself in the mirror. He's wearing the shirt that Donghae gave him to change into this morning.
Donghae's shirt was a little bit too big for him, but Hyukjae didn't mind. He can smell the perfume that was left on it.
When Hyukjae was just about to lay down on the bed, the door opened and Hyukjae was surprised to see Donghae. The man is wearing a suit, like he's having an important appointment to attend to.
"I thought you won't come tonight." Hyukjae said still looked confused.
"I changed my mind." Donghae answered back as he sit on the bed, took off his jacket and threw it on the chair.
Donghae looked at the boy's face that was illuminated by the moonlight, before moving his hand to touch his soft skin and Hyukjae just looked back at him with curiosity on his face.
Donghae looked into his pure round eyes, thinking about the fact that he had just chosen Hyukjae over his job. He suddenly realized that,since the first time he saw Hyukjae looking at the moon with his lonely face, and the moment he saw his pure round eyes, he fell in love with him.
"Can I sleep with you here tonight?" Donghae asked with a soft smile on his face and Hyukjae's lips broke into a gummy smile before nodding quickly. They lay down on to the bed with arms wrapped around each other. So close, that their noses are almost touching and they talk and laugh about random things.
"What do you want to do if you quit this job?" Hyukjae asked with clear interest in his voice.
"That's nearly impossible, but...hmm...I like camera"
"Oh! Like a photographer?"
"Maybe something like that. I can just travel around and taking pictures, that would be fun." Donghae said, thinking about the freedom that he know he'll never be able to gain once more.
"What about you, Hyukjae?" Donghae asked back and Hyukjae thought for a while.
"I don't know, but I want to study Astrophysics, since I like the moon and star." Hyukjae said with a smile.
"Why are you always looking at the moon, by the way?" Donghae can't help being curious.
"I feel like I'm not alone when I look at the moon. It feels like the moon is looking back at me too," Hyukjae explained with a smile and looked out the window at the half moon. Donghae nodded and his eyes widened as something popped into his mind.
"Hey! How about this. If I can quit this job, I'm going to take the most beautiful picture of the moon and send it to you."
Hyukjae broke into a smile and his eyes are full of hopes.
"Promise!?"
"Promise!"
Then they do the pinky promise and talk about everything until they fell asleep.
When the moon's gone and the sun comes again, Kibum walked around the house looking for Donghae.
"Donghae.." Kibum opened the door but stopped as he saw Donghae sat next to Hyukjae, looking into his sleeping face, with a soft smile and warmth in his eyes.
Kibum gasped. He have known Donghae for a long time and they've had worked and live together and they've been best friends since they met,
but Kibum never ever saw Donghae being so warm and peaceful like this before.
"What is it, Kibum?" Donghae's question startled Kibum and he suddenly
remember why he's there.
"Oh, Heechul said that we are going to have a meeting now." Donghae nodded and take a last look at Hyukjae before following Kibum to the living room.
"Aren't you busy lately, Donghae?" Heechul asked as he saw Donghae sat on the sofa.
"The Boss's said that he didn't saw you last night. I don't know where the hell have you been, but I'm sure it must be so important, that you would chose it over your job, Donghae." Heechul said, His eyes cold.
Then Heechul turned around to look at everyone in the room.
"So! We're going to call Mr.Lee tomorrow," he said. He grabbed the remote of the television situated in the middle of the room and turned it on. He switched to News channel, showing an old man crying, begging to anyone who kidnapped his son, to returned him.
"Doesn't he looks wonderful?" Heechul asked with a smirk on his face.
"Now, I want the boy to look as bad as his father. Crying and begging for us to let him return home." Everyone looked kind of lost.
"What do you mean?" Kibum asked
"You know what I mean," he said and looked directly to Donghae.
"But I've done that. Wasn't that enough?" Kibum said.
"NO! WHAT YOU DONE IS NOT ENOUGH, KIBUM!" Heechul screamed and threw the water in his glass at Kibum.
"I want him to be hurt. I'll leave a scar that both father and son will never forget all of their life!" Then heechul sat down, trying to calm himself before he glared at Donghae.
"And since it seems like you'll never let anyone touch him, then you do it, Donghae
And if you refuse then I'm just going to cut his finger and send to his father"
Donghae stands up and glares at Heechul. He tightened his fist in anger and bit on his bottom lip so hard that he can taste his own blood.
"Fine. I'll do it." Donghae said huskily.
"Good. I knew you will." Heechul smiled.
"Don't betray us like Hankyung, Donghae." Heechul said and Donghae just quickly left the room.
Everybody looked at each other in confusion.
"Kibum I'm sorry," Heechul turned to the young man and wiped his face for him and smiled.
"The Boss was going to give Donghae a very important mission, but since he didn't make it yesterday, the mission will go to you Kibum."
"Oh, what is it?" Kibum asked
Then Heechul's lips turned into the most terrifying smirk Kibum has ever saw.
"Assassinate Lee's family."
