And hahahahaha you didn't actually think I was gonna kill him, did you?!
...I was concerned. The Little Match Girl is about the saddest story in human existence. This was sweet, though, and well-written. My favorite illustration out of these is when Kirk puffs out "Bones..."
heehee yeah, originally I was gonna kill him, but I would have left it off at his last "Bones...", but then I remembered that in the past people have gotten upset at me for my apparently "cliffhanger" endings. So when I thought about McCoy and Spock finding him...I decided to let him live. XDD
the original story is a lot more depressing, about a poor little girl who sells matches, but no one bought any from her, so...she's really really poor, and in the snow, and lights matches to keep herself warm, but when she lit the matches she saw like a warm fire, and a christmas dinner, and so on. In the end, she sees a shooting star in the sky which she was told meant that someone had died, and she sees her grandma and the girl asks her grandma to take her with her, and to stay with her, since she knew that she would disappear as soon as the matches went out, and so she lights all of her matches up at once, and then the next morning she's dead, but has a smile on her face...yeah a lot more depressing than mine. XD

The panel where Jim thinks he sees Bones for the first time was amazing.

Very, very nicely done. I like the little images conjured by the matches (not knowing the story this is based upon).
Thank you so much for participating!
