It had only been a few hours since they had finished filming the Christmas special. Elvis Costello had gone home and Stephen was dosing off by the fireplace, wondering vaguely about what had happened to Toby Keith's chestnuts when there was a loud knock on the door. Stephen jumped in his chair and whipped his head over towards the door, suspiciously. One bear had already snuck into his cabin today...what if the last one had had friends and they were now coming to exact their Godless revenge?!
"Stephen! Open up! It's me!"
"Jon?!" Stephen immediately got up and opened the door. A flurry of snow and wind forced its way into the cabin as Stephen shoved the door closed. "What are you doing here?" Stephen exclaimed.
"There's a huge storm coming in and it was getting really dangerous to drive so I came back up here to see if...maybe I can stay here till the storm lets up?" Jon shivered and Stephen laughed a little as he walked over to the counter.
"Sure you can stay here, Jon. I'll make us some coffee..." Jon smiled warmly.
"Gee, thanks Stephen." He headed towards the couch when he looked down as the floor grew softer. "Oh...er...I see you took care of that bear...that was uh...bothering you..." Jon looked down as he stood on what appeared to be the carcass of a very musically inclined bear. Stephen beamed as he walked over, holding two cups of steaming coffee.
"Yeah! Santa came down the chimney and killed him for me!" Stephen grinned with pride as he handed Jon his cup.
"Cool." Jon replied as he took a sip of his coffee and carefully walked over to the couch, still eyeing Stephen's new rug warily.
"Yeah! Today was great, Jon! Let me tell yeah..."
The two sat together on the couch, and Stephen explained to Jon everything that had happened before and after he had left, and the greatest and magic of Christmas. Jon was happy to listen as it did sound like a rather eventful day. Afterall, one doesn't run into both an angel and Elvis Costello all in one day. And it wasn't a horrible way to be spending his evening, after all...there are much worse things.
"Hey, Jon! You tried to get me into Hanukkah earlier...but can I interest you in Christmas?" Stephen grinned. Jon stared at him for a moment before laughing.
"Thanks, Stephen, but I think I'm good where I am."
"But Joooooon!" Stephen whined, leaning over to nudge the other man. "C'mon Jon! Christmas is sooo much better! And we can share Christmas traditions with each other and you can have a Christmas tree and everything!" Jon laughed, as he shoved the other away.
"No, Stephen, I'm cool." Stephen huffed, angrily at the other.
"Jon, I think you're being unreasonable." Jon giggled.
"Me? C'mon Stephen..." Stephen just gave another huff and turned so his back was facing Jon. Jon giggled again. "Stephen, stop. What if I just celebrated Christmas here, with you? Would that make you feel better?" Stephen peaked over at Jon from over his shoulder.
"...Maybe..." Jon grinned, as he grabbed the other's upper arm, tugging lightly to pull him around to face him once again.
"I'll even do all your Christmas traditions and drink eggnog and all that stuff with you." Jon laughed. Stephen grinned.
"Well, we can't drink eggnog...because I don't have any nutmeg...but...hmn...ok...fine..." Jon laughed as he got up.
"Alright. Well...I'm getting more coffee..."
"Wait, Jon!" Stephen got up. Jon stopped and looked over at the other quizzically.
"What's up?" Stephen stood next to Jon and shrugged a little before pointing up.
"We're...uh...we're under the mistletoe..." Jon looked up and sure enough, a single bushel of mistletoe was hanging up on the ceiling...which is odd because he was sure this was somewhere else when he was here earlier...
"Hmn...well this is awkward..." Jon mused, before looking over at Stephen.
"Well...er...since you said you would do all my Christmas traditions and stuff..." Jon smirked lightly.
"Hmn...well I guess I can't get out of it, huh?" Stephen shrugged again.
"I guess not..."
Jon leaned forward as Stephen drew closer. They paused for a moment, just a hairs breath away from each other, before Stephen cupped Jon's cheek with a hand and they drew together in a light kiss. They stayed like that for a while, before they slowly pulled away.
"That...that was just...that was just because of the...the mistletoe..." Stephen mumbled, watching Jon carefully. Both men had a light blush upon their faces as they stared at each other, breathing heavily.
"Well y'know...we're still under it..." Jon mumbled. Stephen looked up and then back at Jon.
"Hmn...I suppose you're right..." And with that, Stephen grabbed the end of Jon's scarf and pulled him in as Jon put a hand to the other's chest.

It was 8am, Christmas morning and Jon and Stephen had fallen asleep on the couch. Jon was leaning onto Stephen's shoulder, one arm wrapped around Stephen's waist, as Stephen's arm loosely hugged Jon around his shoulders. A sudden loud thud, though startled Stephen from his slumber who jumped up from the couch, causing Jon to fall hard onto the couch.
"Ow! Stephen...what the hell?" Jon yawned, groggily, rubbing at his eyes. There was another loud bang at the door, before it swung open and John Legend burst into the cabin.
"Stephen! There was a really bad storm last night, and when I came to check on you, and the doors were quickly getting blocked by several feet of snow! So I came to rescue you! Oh, and I brought you some nutmeg! Merry Christmas!" He handed Stephen a small bottle.
"Gee, John! Thanks a lot!" Stephen grinned.
"Not a problem. Don't let me catch you drinking eggnog without it again."
"Don't worry, John! I won't!"
"Alright, Stephen, c'mon...Oh! Hey Jon." Jon waved from the couch. "Alright, you guys, c'mon, I'll get you guys home."
"Alright, John!" John left, and Stephen looked over at Jon who was rolling himself off the couch.
"Er...yeah...so...um...last night..." Stephen coughed awkwardly. Jon smiled, lightly as he walked over and clapped him on the shoulder.
"It was...just the mistletoe, right?" Stephen smiled at the other.
"Yeah...exactly."
"Stephen, Jon, you guys coming?!" John Legend called.
"Yeah, sorry!" Stephen called, before walking out of the cabin, waiting for Jon behind him before locking it and closing the door.
"Merry Christmas, Stephen."
"Merry Christmas, Jon."

oh wow this wasn't that good. XD I'm not too good at writing "Stephen".
the only reason why I wrote it, actually was for the Jon standing on the bear part and the nutmeg. XD Oh well...
