yea i think i know what it is..did he just recently move to a different base? your husband i mean..if so..it might be travel reimbursement..for like maybe a hotel room or the car ride up there but it could be anyting..im thinking it is the military..

Yep! It could be that. I don't remember when the payment was, but it might have coincided with our PCS. We were stuck in a hotel for about 10 days, so it does make sense.

OMG, we got a weird federal payment too, $139. Hubbs is deployed, but ??? I thought the IRS messed up our refund, but they said it's still being processed and they didn't do it so....????

My daughter just received a deposit with this too. She is 17 and has never filed taxes so it can't be that. She joined the Army National Guard last January and did go to basic over the summer. So, this has to be federal related. Just not sure how or why. Her deposit was over $400.
