*wants to know*

If I want to ring a person in another countries mobile phone, do I have to use the STD code because I am thinking of ringing someone in America *pokes that special someone*

Does any one know (Paid Accounts might know more) the dialling code for America?

I'm not sure but give it a go? I always get confused when it comes to dialling mobiles abroad and stuff.

I'm pretty sure it is 1, then the number... That's what I use here when I have to call out to Colorado, but I didn't know it was different to other countries.

I would have thought that you would have to, whichever type of phone you want to ring. Maybe you could try texting first, then if they get it, just ring that number, but if they don't get the text, add the 1 before you ring ^^

Well, I am in Canada, and if this helps any, you dial "1" then the area code, then the number. :)
