(no subject)
Okay so today was a big step forward in life.
But i also found out how much i fail. LOL XD
So I made plans to meet with my friend Yani at downtown since we both got the same course and major and everything. So we decided to meet up so we could go to O-week together since we didn't know anything and we could fail together. Anyways we got on the bus and we like boxed this chick in between us and little did we know we were going to become friends with her in 10 seconds.
We were all confused as to what stop to get off so I was like "Yani this stop." and it turned our friend to be got off at the same stop. We were walking and she was walking behind us and said "You guys first years too?" and we nodded and hit off. (All three of us are from Guelph so we clicked about how confusing it was even though we lived here all our lives LOL ) so we started talking and she'll like you guys can hang with me; I'm meeting my friend. So that's how we got our second friend in university called Emily. The first girl's name was Kayla.
Anyways we like arrived an hour earlier and to kill time we talked and like watched back and forth and stuff before we decided that Kayla and Emily wanted to grab something to eat. So we go to the on campus thing and MY FRIST FAIL HAPPENS. lol Kayla and Emily get there food and we grab a table and start talking some more. Found out i was 17, Kayla is 19, Yani is 19 ( knew that already since Yani and me were in the same high school) and Emily is 21 O.O I swear Emily don't even look that old. D:!! Anyways we started talking about classes and Kayla was like I took Spanish and I got all excited since I took Spanish so I was like "DO YOU HAVE IT SECOND PERIOD?!" ....yeah should have NOT said that since they all started laughing at me saying "This ain't high school".... You had to be there to see the fail.
So after eating we decided we want to arrive early because usually the early people get free stuff. LMFAO XDD we get there and sign up and everything ( they made us do a survey and the rest made fun of me since I had to check the 17 and younger box. Basically I'm the 'baby' of the group. LMFAO ) so after getting out name tags and stuff we meet at the mild of the room and this random chick ( our next friend to be ) walks up and says hi and "You guys here for the free stuff?" and we all started laughing because we were and so we dubbed our selves the Cheap group and yah. LOL
We got inside and took the seats at the front because we be cool yo and started mingling. Then one of the volunteers come up OCUS person and starts talking to us and I don't realize until 15 minutes in that OCUS stands for OFF CAMPUS UNIVERSITY STUDENTS.... We kinda would make sense because it was O-week for OFF CAMPUS STUDENTS.... so yeah MY SECOND FAILURE.
That aside there these booklets that had info about O-week in it and we started looking through it for free stuff after we asked one of the OCUS guys if they were giving out free stuff. ( yah we actually asked. Lol ) we So Kayla keeps finding free stuff and we are all like LET'S GO TO THAT ONE and all. I started looking at it and noticed these symbols above each event and one of the symbols had a money sign so I was like "LOOK GUYS! If it doesn't have the money symbol it's FREE!!" I was so proud of my discovery but turned out to be my THIRD FAILURE because they laughed at me again and were like "NO DUH!"
Then Kayla was like "You should introduce yourself as Jagroop, Business of Commerces, Blond Major. Becaus I swear you are blond." LMFAO I laughed and accepted my failure.
Fastforward all the boring stuff they made us do and up comes my FOURTH FAILURE. The teacher person in charge of the thing was like "Clap your hands if you are going home after this. On the count of 3." And knowing me... I clapped as she said "1.......2...." and stopped when she said '3' which was went all the rest started clapping. LMFAO XDD basically I failed so badly since I was the only one clapping.
And then! Me and Yani were heading home and waiting for the bus when these two drunk University first year students come up us and asked "You guys catching the 4:33 bus?" And I gave them the 'WTF' look since it was 7:30.... THEY WERE TOTALLY DRUNK and didn't know the meaning of personal space. So me and Yani backed up not wanting to be close to them and looked at each other and mouth "Scared shitless." I swear it was so creepy since of the dudes kept looking at me and they were talking to us and did NOT get the hint that we didn't want to talk. Luckily a chick crossed the road and they started whistling and cat calling and yelling after her. The girl kept going and the guys finally stopped and then decided to hick a ride to downtwon to get drunk some more. So they were on the side of the road asking for a ride and being idiots when the bus comes. Ofc the bus had to have all girls in it and they were like "DAMN WE HIT THE JACKPOT" and started flirtting with this girl asking her about the pub while me and Yani ran to the back of the bus.
So basically that's it.
But srsly I was shaking when those drunk guys were there.
