I agree with Kadaj. There's no reason to look up to a figurehead to just solve every little problem we have. It's why this city is unstable and we're better off being self-reliant. Really, Discedo, the only way things are going to patch up and be at least a little liveable is to stand up, grow a pair, and mature. Only way that's gonna happen is if ( Read more... )

If you want to join, you have to speak to me first.

And don't plug me.

You? Really? Bit unbelievable, but I'll go along and see what happens.

Okay then, guess I've got no choice. Alright then, tell me what I have to do.

Yes. I am the new head of the Police Force.

Come to the station. I will be waiting there to test you.

Never heard that until now.

And what kind of test will I be taking exactly?

In regards to the police, it has been difficult to organise anything thus far. With so many absences due to members being returned to their homes, I myself have had to join in earnest, where previously I had been merely part of the axillary.

However, the question which needs to be asked is this: if you have a code of justice that you follow, would it take precedence over the guidelines established by the police in regards to conduct?

I would think so. But I've been here for so long, I don't see myself leaving anytime soon.

Guess not. I could easily just go on my own and take care of the ass holes who find it entertaining to kill others, but I figured this would be the best way to go about it.

The other problem as well has been planning around that. But I believe that it was primarily because so many had been called back all at once, and while I do not anticipate that happening again, it would be best to form a plan for such.

The sad truth is that it is so. It will take a concerted, organised effort to control some of these factions, and so a definitive chain of command and set guidelines that must be followed for that to happen.

A past problem of the police has been that there were members who insisted upon enacting justice in their own way, which is ineffective, as we have seen. Moreover, it reflects poorly upon the police, as it seems to the general populace that the police feel they are above the laws that all others must abide by. We hope to correct that.

I'm not all into following other people's guidlines, but what's gotta be done has to be done.

There's no way things are going to be handled with a bunch of police who find it smart to do things their own way and find themselves above the rest. Yeah, I hate doing things in the way someone tells me to, but I'm sick and tired of the murders that keep following one after another here.

In fact, it pisses me off that I'm about to do this, but I know I can help decrease the amount of problems we have.

I'm guessing you're a part of the force.

Yeah. I've been fine.

Just making sure.

So, this whole police force thing might keep me busier. But I'll still be able to handle look-out shifts, depending on when I work.

What do you think?

I think you're wasting your time and gearing to tear your hair out, personally. But you do what you want.

Hey, what do you think of the new guys? Hayner and Seifer and Beat?

Touchy. I'm only doing this because, apparently, no one else is going to try and fix it. Not like I want to be a police officer, but this is my home...might as well protect the people in it.

I haven't really gotten the chance to talk to any of them much, but I heard Hayner pranked the hell out of Axel, LOL.

I had no problems joining, myself. They seem to be in need of new members.

I would think so. It's been a pain in the ass handling what's been going on, and it's obvious there isn't enough work in the force.

Hah.
Know who I really need to speak to to join?

I myself spoke to Mr Minato, I believe. But I can't quite say with certainty there's a set leader.

Right. I might as well go talk to him, too. I don't really think it'll be much a challenge to join the force.

I was wondering what you were up to lately! Is the training working out well?

Ha. The usual crap, only I might start being out of the house more often than usual. I'm sure being a police officer will keep me out most of the day.

Pretty well, yeah. I've been working on my aim with the dual-blades. Managed to look through my old inventory from "The World" and found some other decent equips that manipulate my speed temporarily.

That'll come in handy.

How about you, Umi?

lol super-backdated sorry xD; embracethewaves March 20 2009, 21:43:10 UTC
Oh, really? Should I start calling you 'officer' now? Hmm, that would be hard to get used to though!

...Okay, I have no idea what any of that means. But if it's useful then that's good!

I've just beet trying to stay busy with classes and work! And meeting some of the new people in the house, of course. Some of them are pretty noisy, but they seem fun!

If you want.
Like I care, LOL. I'm not even part of the force yet.

Classes?
Yeah, I'm apparently going to meet the few others that have moved in. All I heard about was Hayner. I'll get to talking to him sooner or later.
