I admit it. I used to be one of those gigantic dumbasses that was like Y WOULD U COSPRAY NOT AMINE AT AN AMINE KON??? like five years ago. Now I realize I was a giant durka durk and I look forward to seeing the really bizarre costumes, from the Fairly Odd Parents to Doctor Who to REPO! The Genetic Opera to ZOMG AVATAR I LOOOVE AVATAR

I DO know the thing with Avatar and Teen Titans and other likewise shows is a bit more tricky because a lot of people are still hung up on the "fake anime" or whatever, but this entry was more about people who watch anime yet condemn any American cartoons, regardless of art style--from Chowder, to Dexter's Lab, to Danny Phantom, to whatever. If you only like the art style that anime uses, then fine, but I see a lot of anime fans who, like, really make a big fuss and seem to complain about the fact that Americans even MAKE animated films/shows. x.X; Why do that? It's still an art form

You know, I am RIGHT there with you. There's a COUPLE of people I've met at anime cons that are rabid animu people - but give me this distasteful almost "lecture" when I talk about my undying love for Venture Brothers, South Park or oldies like Gargoyles and All Dogs Go To Heaven.
That's one reason why I love you - you're a VERY well-rounded person!
