i was wondering. how do people actually get "their song?" do you guys just bring it up or does it just happen? and how do both of you know that it's your song? i mean, do you say "hey this should be our song?" i'm really curious.

if you mean like a couple's song, i think it just like happens. like some song that is randomly playing the first time you dance or make out or something. i've never had one with any of my gf's so yeah, i think its kinda lame lol

Me and my ex of four years had, "lovesong" by the cure, because it was the song we were both singing when i accidentally punched her in the nose, and kissed it better... And well, i guess i didn;t stop for four years. haha.

now me and my good friend Matt have a song... "standing outside a broken phone booth with money in my hand" by the Primitive Radio Gods..
That we got by sitting on the beacj watching the sunrise, drunk and talking all night, and with our little Radio this song played and both of us just got quiet and listened to the entire song in silence, and it was just Understood that this song is officially ours.

ha well what me and steph did was one day we were at borders listening to cds before we were going out. and she points out this song to me that really described us. then when i was in argentina i happened to buy the cd and we were listerning to it and we just decided that it would ne out song. dont know if thats the right way but it doesnt matter

the last time i was crazy enough to actually be in a relationship "ever fallen in love with someone you shouldn't have fallen in love with" by the buzzcocks was our song just because it had to be without us ever discussing it. it went so well with all the horrible things he did to me and the repeated times he ripped my heart out.
