Okay, quick entry. Awesome times with care tonight, as always;)
Crazy thing. i just stepped outside for a sec and noticed huge pillars of light, dozens of them, shooting up into the sky...ice crystals are making all the lights visible...i figured it out. it looks amazing though.

When I typed that entry it was really late and for whatever reason I was rushing...i totally forget. Anyway, my first thoughts/reaction when I saw the strange huge beams of light from the sky went a little something like this:

"doo doo dee doo, i'm going out to have a smoke because I feel like it and becuase I'm young have no fear of cancer. doo doo dee do-. what the? w-what's going on? what is that thing?!" +looks around+ eyes widen+ "T-th-there's hundreds of them! They're coming from all over...WHAT ARE THEY!?" +calmly takes drag of smoke because of slow mind/body reaction times+ "Oh shit, we're being invaded...oh my god, this is it, this is the real thing!"
I then proceeded to make an action plan mentally in the result it was an actual invasion. I then made my discovery, almost half-unfortunately.
Anyway, I'm an idiot.

wow that sounds beautiful. very funny reenactment, i had a similar encounter the other night, i was lying in bed and it was late and i heard what i thought was a huge explosion, and i thought it was a volcano because recently these volcanoes called the three sisters that are really close to us, became active again, and now im terrified because i have a serious fear of volcanoes (i dont know why, i have never lived near one), so i thought about it, and thought if it was, that we would get all the cats together and take my moms car and drive away, and i looked outside and the sky was orange (streetlights and fog), and i started thinking, omg what if its orange from the volcano, and then i realize i was being paranoid and went back to sleep, so not nearly as drastic as yours, because if i saw lights going up into the sky i would be much more freaked out, from the way it sounds i would instantly think aliens, i want aliens to come, but only if they're nice to me and the people i want them to be nice to.
