I started this Monday & I’m finishing it now.
So some things probably don’t make that much sense.

This is mainly for Katie, and a little bit for Jess.

I can’t think of anything exciting about my life lately other than that Dan & I celebrated our one year anniversary last week. I doubt that’s even exciting to many of you. Suck it.

Monday.
I woke up insanely dizzy. My nose bled all over the bathroom floor. I was running late. Not a fabulous start to the day.
I did my Spanish homework during homeroom. This meant I had all of my homework done before first period, even my 65 problem beast of a math assignment.
We watched a movie during Shakespeare. Then read a bit. I miss my study hall even though Shakespeare isn’t much more than that.
Mrs. Baronner came to her senses and repealed her ‘no more packets’ idea. I’m annoyed, but the packets really do help. AND I have mine completely done already. Turning over a new leaf? Just maybe. I also signed up to take the AP European History National Exam in May. I’m not sure this was the best idea, but doing all of the AP work only to have the course drop to honors level is an even worse idea. Besides, I have been doing rather well in that class lately.
We had our first physics test of the marking period. 51/54. I continue to rule that class.
Having completed my first trig assignment in…a month, maybe?, I was too proud to pay attention during class. Unfortunately, we had a homework quiz on an assignment from last week that I did not do at all. I think I did okay, though. I have to do better in that class this marking period; I know I can if I just stop slacking.
I’m starting to like English class. Mrs. Suter is probably my favorite teacher. I mean, she watches Cribs! Anyways, we went over some questions and shared our Trojan horse cartoons. I think people liked mine. Katie and I had a good time as always. We are too funny for that class.
I finished my trig homework [that’s number two.] during Newswriting.

Dan and I went to the library as usual. Some random kid came and sat at OUR TABLE. Dan helped me with my Euro packet.
I came home and had an argument-free dinner with my dad and sisters. That’s a rarity. We talked and laughed, and Jendi and Kelli sang old pop songs with me. O-Town, Spice Girls, ‘Little Black Backpack’, you know--good stuff.

I’ve set some goals. They include:
Going back to youth group at least once a week.
Doing my homework as soon as possible, preferably before 10:00.
Studying at least somewhat for tests.
LEARNING HOW TO DRIVE/Getting my license.
Going to some sweet shows/ concerts.
Making friends & actually hanging out with them.

Okay. Tuesday.
I think we went to the computer lab in Shakespeare. I’m really not sure.
I wrote a constitution for Euro. I actually put forth some effort and had it done BEFORE school. Sometimes I impress myself.
A bracelet Dan made me broke. I forgot to mention that a necklace of mine broke Monday at the library. Not having much luck with jewelry.

Wednesday.
We got put into groups for a project in Shakespeare. I don’t know anyone in my group, but let’s just say I think I’ll be doing most of the project. Awesome.
We took a test in Euro. I actually thought I did pretty well considering I hadn’t read that much of the chapter and considering that Mrs. B. hinted at the possibility of a partner test and then let us down.
I also had a test in trig, which was rather easy.
We went to the language lab in Spanish. It sucked as always.
Another test in English. Not too bad.

Now comes the highlight of my day. YEA. We got this new kid [along with Donald]. We thought he'd be a nice, quiet kid. His name’s Josiah. I feel like I should mention that. Well, after completing his homework, Josiah starts beating Donald. So we decide we should play a game to keep them busy. We try flashcards. These were money flashcards. A few minutes into the game, Josiah decided to change the rules and just rip all of the cards out of Dan’s hand. He then proceeds to run around screaming ‘Give me the money’ and asks me if he can have the card box to hit Donald over the head with. Needless to say, Dan, Danielle and I were quite scared. Another little girl was throwing paper airplanes at her tutor. YEA was out of control. And the advisers were nowhere to be found. Luckily, we made it out alive.

I went to youth group with Jendi, Kelli, and Kelli’s friend Amy. It was a pretty good time, except there is only one or two kids my age and no girls my age. I think I’ll probably keep going, though.

Thursday.
Groundhog’s Day. Always exciting.
We got our scheduling forms signed for next year. My schedule should include the following: AP Government, AP Calculus, AP Spanish, Honors English, Emerging Technologies, Intro to Speech, Newswriting, Study hall. That should be fun.
The necklace that broke before and Dan fixed broke again in Spanish class; beads went everywhere.
We picked groups for a project in English. My group? Hannah, Erin, Meg, Christina. Should be pretty sweet.
There was an FLC meeting after school. Nothing too eventful.
Then I had a dentist appointment to get a tooth filled. I got Novocain [sp?] and I couldn’t feel half of my face until 9:00. I slept most of the night and then woke up to watch The OC and Without a Trace. Both were good episodes. I hardly ever watch TV anymore.

Yesterday.
Steelers day at school was pretty ridiculous. Homeroom was extended 10 minutes just to show Steelers-related announcements, most of which made fun of Mr. Fox [a Browns fan]. There was a Steelers-related contest during lunch. And probably 75% of the school was wearing Steelers colors. I was not. I couldn’t care less about football. I think I have to babysit during the Superbowl. I might tape it, though, just for the commercials.
We pretty much had a free day in Euro.
We did a practice PSSA prompt in English. For some reason, I'm worried about the PSSAs. I've always gotten advanced proficient, but I have an irrational fear that I won't this year. We start the writing portion next week. :\
I seriously slept on the futon all night last night. Well, from 6:00-11:00. And when I finally got up, I went to bed. I wish I had a life so that I didn’t sleep so much. I really do hate spending my life sleeping.

Today.
I woke up around noon, which is early for me. My throat is killing me. I think I’m going to Dan’s tonight to watch Troy.
I need a shower.
