this fic is so undeserving of your two-page comment but im happy to know that you enjoyed reading it so much~ aahh, i feel like all the time ive spent writing and worrying over this fic is so worth it because i have readers like you who dedicate just a second of their time to leave a comment like this. :")
for your question, i would like to believe that it wasn't really love at first sight for kyungsoo, per se. but the fact that chanyeol was brave enough to step in and try to protect her from the bullies definitely made a big impact for kyungsoo. also, canon!kyungsoo seems like someone who can protect himself really well, so i tried to reflect that same trait in this fic. ^^
