The house was quiet other than the soft mews coming from a cat that was walking back and forth in the kitchen, rubbing against her master's legs. Kazuo was crouched in the kitchen, biting his thumbnail as he peered through the rusty window of the oven door. The room was scented with the smell of baking cookies, though they were far from being done

Kazuya had been waiting for this night for awhile. With his arms full of bags he struggled to get the front door open to the apartment but he managed. Once inside he was greeted by an odd smell. It smelt like baked cookies but that was highly unusual for the Nakamura residence. "Kazuo?" he called out as he set the bags on the ground. Inside glittered many bottles, tonight was going to be great.

Kazuo was bent over the stove top. On the stove was two flat pans of fresh baked cookies. Frosting was in hand, a spatula in the other as Kazuo very carefully spread the sugary sweetness on each cookie. He heard Kazuya enter the house and he heard his name called, but he couldn't pry his eyes from the work at hand. He continued to silently add the frosting on the cookies.

Kazuya headed into the kitchen and watched a bit as Kazuo frosted cookies. "Kuro must have rubbed off on you." he said as he put the bags on the counter. Reaching into the bags Kazuya began to pull out the bottles of alcohol. "Here you go start drinking I want you to start getting a good buzz." he joked as he popped the top on one.

Kazuo continued frosting the cookies carefully, not looking up at his brother. He did shoot him a glance when Kazuya set the bags on the counter, only to make sure he wasn't putting the bags too close to the already finished cookies. He dabbed the last cookie, adding a little extra on this one to help finish off the frosting. "I made cookies," he said, looking up at Kazuya. He reached towards the bags Kaz had brought in and took one of the bottles.
