page one of my new comic. (soon to come!) kind of a character introduction before the actual comic starts. i'm pretty happy with the way it turned out... i have a few other pages finished but it'll still be a while before it's properly on the internet. now working on the cover page for chapter one

thank you, i think so too. i've finally come to terms with the fact that i'm not going to be famous and there will always be someone better than me...but it's something i enjoy. i'm still pretty far from where i want to be, but it's a process. i think i'm getting better with each page i draw.

Judging from the venacular used, she is being represented as a southern child. I will be interested in seeing how this progresses along. well hello and thank you. actually, last night i decided to make her from detroit, haha. buuuut, it's nice to know that i can at least express the southern thing. everyone else in the comic will be from louisiana so i'll have to watch the way they talk. this is exactly the reason i haven't put it online yet... as i further think about the characters they keep revealing more and more to me and changes are being made.

i added you as well and i will definitely keep my lj updated with comic info as it progresses. :)
