Celebrity crush list [revamped]
I don't know how or why, but a friend of mine and I got into a discussion about celebrity crushes. I remember making a list a long time ago, and though there are a few additions, I feel some facts have remained consistent.
I apologize my list is short, but I'm rather picky.
Jensen Ackles
I'm sure a few of you know of this guy. He plays the super awesome Dean Winchester of the TV series Supernatural. But more than him being a hunk, in panels and bloopers on the show, he's just a really awesome guy in general. Really funny and just an overall down-to-earth kind of guy. He'd make a good cowboy, and that's frickin' hot.
Ben Barnes
Now, I'd like to put the fact out there that the entire main cast of Narnia is good-looking. Even Edmund is hot, and I totally don't care that I feel like a pedophile for saying that. But Ben Barnes, a.k.a Prince Caspian a.k.a Inigo Montoya wins hands down for me. Sure Ben doesn't sport the seductive chords of Antonio Banderas in reality, but the guy looks damn good in chain mail and that's all a girl ever needs.
Ikuta Toma
A few of my friends really really like J-celebs. I admit, I've ogled a few, but most of them look like women or just wear too much damn make-up, and I personally have a thing for the manly man, but for this guy I'll let it slide. He's just such an amazing actor, in everything I've seen him in. Dramas, theatricals, okay...maybe his singing isn't that enticing, but I just don't really like male J-pop. Either way, this guy is damn good. A little dorky-looking, but when he gets into character I. Love. Him.
Josh Holloway
And here he is...Josh frickin' Holloway.
A few friends of mine know my deep, deep crush I have for this guy. The only way I can explain him is "rugged." Once again, my measurement for how hot a guy is is based on his ability to look good in chain mail. This guy, though he's never sported it would blow it out of the frickin' water, like he was meant to serve King Arthur, but just landed in the wrong century. But what gets me the most about Mr. Holloway is he's essentially Remy LeBeau from X-men. Give him red contacts, dye his hair a darker shade, and wah-lah, you got yourself a Gambit. You know why I say this? Have him talk to you in his "normal" voice, and he has the Cajun accent! *dramatic inward breath*
Stick him in a space marine suit and what do you got? Jim Raynor, as in my number one video game character crush. Excuse me while I salivate at the mouth...
Natalie Portman
I feel she's on everyone's celebrity crush list, and I feel it's mostly for the same reason. Her role in V for Vendetta where she shaved her head and managed to look even hotter than before totally won me over. But that's not where I grew to love her, because that would be way too mainstream. I totally dug her role in "Garden State." Epilepsy is so hot.
Ayumi Hamasaki
My love for this woman is based off of such huge respect I have for her. Her music, videos, and fashion sense basically influenced Japan's fashion and music industry for the past 10+ years. All her lyrics are self-written and based on personal experiences and she truly revolutionized J-pop, making it sound drastically different than American or Euro-pop. She is such a kind person and there is absolutely no way she is as old as she is.
And here's a fun but sad fact. She's now completely deaf in her left ear, and she still manages to perform live w/out much trouble. Suck it Britney Spears.
I would post more, but I'm lazy, I have another post I want to make real quick, and these are pretty much the top of my list and thus are really the only important ones. Share any of mine? You guys should post up yours. :)
