"Now, Robin... where are your manners?" he landed a kick to the side of Robin's head, knocking the boy off balance. "I thought I taught you better than that..."

"Easy there, Robin... I wouldn't want you to cause irreparable damage to my new apprentice." He reached down, gripping Robin under the chin and forcing him to look up into his one baleful eye. "Perhaps in time you will see that my way is the only way, Robin... all other paths only lead to pain. For you, and for those you care most about." He squeezed Robin's jaw, exerting nearly enough pressure to make the boy pass out... "If you make me fight for you again, I can't promise their safety..."

"I-- I went for a walk. To clear my head." Robin said lamely. Beast Boy gave him a quick once over and frowned.
"A walk where? An abandoned electrical plant?"
Robin rubbed the back of his neck and looked at the floor, laughing weakly.
"Heh, yeah.. something like that. I'm gonna get some sleep..."
"Good idea, man... you look like you could use it..."
Robin was already out of the room before Beast Boy finished.
"Man... what's up with him?"
