despa_ameblo is looking for two volunteers (or one with a lot of free time ;D)!

As some of you have heard, our translator of Karyu, if_sixwasnine, recently had to step down and breadtoaster (our translator for Tsukasa) is on indefinite hiatus due to an overload of work from school. iwasaki_momoko and I have been trying our best to keep up with the guys' posts but they recently started spamming

I started to learn japanese once, but I had to quit, because of spanish. I started messing the grammar up. was pretty funny,actually xD

I really wish I could help you guys D: I really appreciate what you do and I know you guys are totally swamped and you really deserve some help but I only have a little more than Japanese 1 skills DDDD:

Guess the point of this post is to say even though you guys are totally swamped I really appreciate what you are doing even if the translations aren't there the day of an update :D

If you're still looking for translators, I think I could probably help you out. ^^ I'm a native English speaker and while I wouldn't call myself fluent in Japanese, I've studied it for the past six years, have had the equivalent of seven semesters of it at the university level couldn't tell you my JLPT placement as I was going to take level 2 last winter but the test day was the same day as D'espa's FC trip...er yeah, needless to say, I went with the scholastically irresponsible choice there ^^;, and am actually currently studying in Japan. I could certainly sample translate a couple of entries for you though to give you an idea should you still even be looking for help...and are not completely like "who the hell is the is random chick?!"...I realize I'm not the most prominent member of the LJ D'espa fanbase or anything (I guess I've spent more time interacting with the fanbase on Ameba recently

PS. your Japanese is probably a LOT better than me since you've studied Jap wayyyy longer and lucky you! you're in Japan!!! *is envious*

Let's see if anyone else PM'd communistmuffin but somehow, i doubt it... I was actually worried we'll get no one and then we'd end up having to take desperate measures, like cutting down on the entries DDDX In the best case scenario, we can get someone to do Tsukasa too and I won't feel like hizu-chan isn't getting 100% of my love~

Ah, yeah I wasn't really sure if I should PM her or respond here, so I just responded here...maybe that was a total noob move XD

If no one else has PM'd about it, Karyuの翻訳者に喜んでなります。He really does tend to be more of a spammer (especially about 岸さん's meals lately...wtf, Karyu...let the poor man eat his noodles in peace XD), but I'm totally willing to translate it. Or Tsukasa if you wind up needing that instead. As I see it, I've fallen into the habit of dedicating part of my day to pouring over the blog entries anyway so I might as well be helpful while I'm at it. XD

I just hope you will do something to decrease the mistakes in translations of Zero entries, your members deserve more accurate translations.
