Robin Hood Close Up Exhibition Nottingham Castle!

Righty-ho ho! Yesterday, I went to the Robin Hood Close Up Exhibition at Nottingham Castle, where there were a load of props and costumes from the beeb's series! It was so much fun, as I'm sure my best friend who went with me agrees!
We even got to do a bit of archery... (even if I wasn't very good at it!) And it was a great day!

It's on 'til Spring if that helps! I'd only heard of it because one of my best friends lives in Nottingham, and was walking through the city centre and saw a *huge* poster for it apparantly! And then I persuaded mum she wanted to go! I don't live too far off, so it wasn't too bad!

I'm so jealous - this looks awesome! IT looks like a real museum, haha - especially with those information boards. Is this only up for one day? Looks like they put a lot of work into it.

I think I would be weirded out by other people walking around pretending to be the characters, though...

And I love your Guy action figure!

It was great!! It's up until Spring 2008, so I'm planning to go back!
Yeah, it was a bit odd with the other people as the characters I suppose, but I was more interested in the costumes!
I love my Guy action figure too!!!

Gee none of that was there when I was Nottingham (It's beside the point I was there in 1992!). You look like you were having fun. Did you at least try to steal (Sorry I mean borrow) the banner with Guy and Sherrif???

Well, it was only opened yesterday, but still! We did have fun, but unfortunately it was far too big to 'borrow'! =p

You know when I was there, they did have one of the costumes from 'Robin of Sherwood'. It was Herne the Hunter.
