'...In a disappointing development for the gossip columinists, Pearl Jam and Nirvana had made it through the night without any harsh words or fisticuffs breaking out. Kurt Cobain had bared his teeth and growled when he passed the drummer in the corridor but the the other two members of Nirvana had been cordial, even when pearl jam played a few teasing bars of 'smells like teen spirit' and stone told the audience 'just remember we played it first.'

The gnashing teeth part made me chuckle but funniest of all, this paragraph has a foot note which claims there were reports of a 'brawl' between eddie and cobain which reulted in vedder being 'kneed in the groin by cobain'!!!!?
