Since I can't post to the list that you posted to about Warren Ellis, I hope you don't mind me responding here. I know you were rather disturbed by one posters mentioning of Ellis' cam attempts and early LJ list adventures. What follows is a well known account of something that happened years ago while he still had his old Delphi forum open. It has been the topic of many inside jokes in the community of people who were fans of him before he went a bit weird

well, I guess they missed the point I wasn't questioning his motive, although, I could, instead, I was questioning the systems we have in place in our society.

I also think men helping women is wonderful, I wish more people in the position to do so did.
