The why?

Here is the thing I will never understand. Why do we interperate somebodys dream as something that will never happen. By doing this we shut off all feeling and the translucent arrogence is just repulsing. I in my head have done more thinking and expanding that it literally scares me. This is who I am. I never stop thinking and I am always ( Read more... )

Honestly, I like what you have to say; it's an interesting philosophy, though I would tend to disagree with a lot of it. The world is not all pansies and Dadaism, and the rational mind does have it's place. Free thought is fine, but lack of rationality doesn't necessarily imply lack of creativity. For instance, you could write plenty of music with no intention of doing anything with it. You could march down the street with a pair of cymbals and sing impromptu verses into the night air. Or, you could write music *and* promote it, which requires both creativity and rationality. I'm not suggesting that any one of these examples is better than another; I'm just offering another perspective. In fact, rational thought often enables the spark of creativity to blossom into a bonfire. One creative thought leads to another leads to, "Hmm, I wonder what I could do with this?" Secondly, I believe that the "chaos and aftermath" of free speech is largely created by how you interpret the results. Chaos contains plenty of creativity, if you ( ... )

The thing that I have realized is that there are two races in this world. Humans and people. Humans go in one consistant direction. People decide what direction to go in next.

Ha...that's funny. I usually refer to "people" as the masses that I often ridicule out of frustration. "Human," for me, is more general, and implies characteristics that link us all....or perhaps simply a scientific notion...when I take it beyond science, and beyond sociology, I refer to others strictly by name. A name is more personal, and it provides a barrier to my silly cynicism, removing individuals from my battle cry of "stupid people."

You are right names are very personal. The reason I consider people to be a sub group of humans is due to the word person. If you are a person you belong to a group of people. This seperates you from the larger group known as the "human race". Thus giving you more individuality.

That is the best part of opinions is that they are your own and you can state whatever you want and not be wrong. This is why I shall now post my opinion, I completly understand where you are coming from however we as us produce the chemicals and due to our reactions in certian situations creating what you have named "mood". One thing that I like about these conversations is that the word does not describe what is happening real well. That and "mood" sounds to close to "mode" and thus causing me to think that this word needs to change as well. It sounds like we are becoming machine oriented more and more each day. The chemicals that are realesed sound like an engine with fluid. There for it is not the fact that I do not believe that this happens....What I believe is that there is a way that it can be controled. Have you noticed that when you are angry the thought proccess stops completly ending all happiness and rational thought because you are getting way to much of one thing. I am not saying it is not okay to be angry..... ( ... )
