I don't notice things.

For example, I don't notice that I've left the light on after I've left the room.  I don't notice that the cabinet door is still open after I've retrieved my plate.  I don't notice that a hair tie has been on the floor for 3 days.  I don't notice that my nail file has fallen off the counter.

Hahaha. I do stuff like that, but only when I am wholly preoccupied. Otherwise, I am incredibly type A about light switches and cabinets and so forth.

Also, I never "see" people I know in places except where I am expecting to see them. As a result I am horrendously awkward when I unexpectedly see people when I'm out doing things. Because I am not mentally prepared for such an encounter.

thats the great part, I'm massively type A as well. I maintain lists. Everything is colour coded. All the cans need to have the non-label side showing and all my towels have to be folded the same way.

...perhaps thats why I don't notice things...I'm too busy worrying whether coffee cups all have their handles facing the same way in my cupboards.
