So, this is going to be a very short entry seeing as how it's 1:35, and I'm pooped. Anyway, I know there are many of you on here that enjoy/are studying the arts at the moment, and I could use your handy dandy advice. believe it or not, there are a lot of careers out there for people in the arts (trust me, i go to art school XD) i think you would be very good in anything you go into, personally.

you know, Columbia has a pretty sweet animation program...

i know what you mean about indecisive. in a school where everyone is on a specific track, i'm jumping back and forth between two majors trying to make up my mind.

I've always been of the opinion that expecting people in thier mid-late teens and early twenties to know what they want to do for the rest of their lives is functionally retarded. You're told to just pick something but you have no exposure to anything really yet, as all you've done up to this point is take conformist classes in high school and a couple of extracirriculars. I've always had an issue with declaring a major at 18 because of this; there's a world of things people haven't even heard of yet that they might love. The pressure to decide doesn't help ( ... )

I agree, and, thankfully, I'm only a freshman, so if this turns out to be a dud, I still have time to change my mind *yet again*. Thanks for the note, though- it's nice to see you're still alive :P You should drop me a line sometime to tell me how you're doing- I miss chatting with you!
