"She's just a child! Please, leave her be!"
"Such a beautiful woman, too bad your intelligence isn't as great as your beauty."
"Please!"
"I can't do that."
In the shadows of the hallway, stood a little girl. A blanket clutched in her two year old hands. She stood in silence, as she listened to her mother beg for her life.
"Mama?" the little girl whispered, quietly.
The man's eyes found the girl. A grin spread across his face. He took a step towards the girl, but the little girl's mother ran in front of the man. He muttered something under his breath, and touched the mother's cheek. "Run!" she shouted, before falling to the floor. Dead.
The little girl looked up at the man, clutching the blanket for dear life. As if it would somehow protect her. He kneeled in front of her.
"Why look at you!" he cooed.
He snapped his head around, and he heard the sound of shattering glass. A new figure appeared before him. "Leave her alone!"
"Ah, why if it isn't the Hatake boy!"
"Leave her alone."
The little girl cowered on the floor, as the two men spoke.
"Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. You know I can't do that. You're - what? - 17 now? You know you have to jump at every opportunity, that presents itself to you."
The Hatake boy smirked.
Seconds later a cloud of smoke filled the house, and the girl was being carried out of the house. In the Hatake boy's arms.

"Tell me."
He looked at her, confusion apparent in his eyes.
"What are you talking about?" he asked.
"Don't play stupid with me, Kakashi!"
"Tenten, just calm down. Please. I'll tell you. Just...calm down. Alright?"
"You'll tell me, regardless. Now who was my mother?" Tenten hissed, through her teeth.
"Your mother's name was Miki. We grew up together, and we were really close friends. Your father died, two days after you were conceived. After that, I stayed with your mother. Helping her prepare, for when you were to be born. We grew 'closer', by the time you were a month old. One night, I went to pick up some green tea. When I came back, I saw your mother dead. On the floor, and you cowering not too far from her. So I did a forbidden jutsu, and fled with you in tow."
"Seventeen years. Seventeen, god damn, years! And you didn't tell me about this until now?!" Tenten yelled, standing up.
"I didn't want to upset you, or hurt you." Kakashi said, nervously.
"You fucked my mother, saved my life. And you...I can't believe you!"
"What would you have wanted me to do?!" Kakashi retorted.
"You could've told me! That's what!"
"I'm sorry OK?!"
"I am too." Tenten said, walking out of the bar.
