Mar 26, 2010 22:14

Beware my summary/review is wordy, very wordy and it sort of strays from the actual point here and there.

Gosh, i loved this so much. Hahaha, the Jon quotes you put are so hilarious... Jeez, i love that dude, i wish i could meet him <3

I'm taking your pics for my Tumblr, of course adding the link to your Flickr, which's definitely worth it!

Thank you so much! :D

Ah thank you so much! I wasn't sure if my humor was coming across correctly or not.

He is really down to earth. He actually sat down on some stairs and had an honest to God full length conversation with the last two tyv fans that were there. I hope you get to meet him!

Thanks so much for linking back to my flickr, I really appreciate it!

Thank you! I'm glad you liked it. :)

You really should. I promise you won't regret it in the slightest. They have a really fun live show.

I actually liked the fact that your review was "wordy". It was cool to read about your experience and the little bits of conversation that most people take as memorable when they go to their own shows as well. And random question: how tall are you? My friend and I have forever been trying to guess Ryan's height lol .... Wow, typing that makes me seem like a crazy fan girl. Long story short, to her he always seemed like a little dude and I've always been like. Um no. He's a beast. Anyways, great review and pictures :)

I'm glad you liked it. It took a long ass time to type all that out, coupled with the fact that I'm a grammar Nazi and completely tossed grammar into the wind made me a bit anxious of actually posting this!

I'm actually 5'2. Ryan is a bit hunched over in that picture. He's really tall in person. I've had the chance to meet him a few times and he's always seemed tall to me, then again I am on the lower end of 5', so you know! I wouldn't say he's little at all to be honest even with my height taken into account.

I enjoyed your report. I saw them at the first show & get to see them again during this tour. Jon really is a great guy & very nice to all his fans.

I laughed so hard at Jon's Wikipedia comment. Kind-of an inside joke in my house.

Ah, I am super jealous that you got to go to the first show! I wanted to go so badly. What's the other show that you're going to?

Hahaha, I know right. I think that was my favorite bit of banter between the two all night!

Oh man so Jon is selling their merch! I was a little afraid of that and stayed away from the merch at their Tampa show (I kind of accidentally met Sean at the Empires show last year because I bought a hoodie from him, so now I'm paranoid)... btw, did you happen to notice if their tshirts came in girl-shape?

Jon isn't actually selling the merch! They have one merch guy that does it for them, he was just back by the merch table at the time.

I SEE YOU PUTTING AN EMPIRES REFERENCE IN THERE. Hell yes. People should just not say the words Empires around me. I started blabbing about them and can't stop!

I didn't notice, but they sort of look to be unisex to me.

The guy selling the merch was Will, the tour manager, formerly of Straylight Run.
Should I post my recap too?
It's just sitting in a Word document on my computer, all wordy and shit too.
It talks a bit about meeting them and my gift basket for Ry and such. And I totally talked about the Wikipedia comment too. It was a classic, but I'm glad you mentioned where Jon cheered for himself because I had already forgotten that part.

Ah, yes! You totally should! We met at the show, didn't we? I hope I'm not getting you confused with someone else.
