please pray for everyone that lost everything except the clothes on their backs....it was a harsh thing to happen to such a beautiful city. but my prayers are with everyone that lost everything because i know how it feels....some of my family members lost everything..and even though i live in new orleans, my area was not

Yeah, I heard about the bad hurricane and how millions of people lost everything, but that is good that you were not not affected. I will defintely pray for everybody.

even though my home was not affected by the storm directly there are people stealing and stuff...i start skool on the 12th and i have nothin to start skool with. i had family stuck in those filthy places they showed on t.v. so trust i was affected by this. besides the places i used to hang out in are gone....underwater or burned down...by looters and there is no telling if i have a house when i get home because of the crazy people....but thanx and keep praying........

shame on bush, the governor, and the mayor...they knew shit was gonna happen so they should have been done somethin about it instead of worrying about the damn superdome....there were citizens stuck in houses and they worried about the superdome...right about now i say fuck the superdome because thats all they are focusing on....my family members were stuck for god knows how long on the roof of a house.....especially my 2 little cousins (2 and 9) come on....just pray for the safety of the gulf coast in general....we have all been affected.....

i'm so happy you're safe. what i don't understand is that how is that cnn can get their reports down there but we couldn't get national gaurd out there? doesn't make too much sense does it? no. i don't understand why the government was just sitting on their asses when they knew something like this was gonna happen? i bet bush is mad that he cut funding for the levees and fema now... it's been a week and they still have people on their roofs, what is that?

yeah im glad that i am safe as well..but we still dont know about our house and personal belongings because we stay in orleans parish but on the other side of the river and martial law is in effect and we cant go home...i mean it is just ridiculous what the government is doing to new orleans...we have a MAJOR port in the united states and it seems like they dont give a shit...we produce almost all of the gas off of our coast and they still dont give a fuck..but my aunt and her 2 sons and boyfriend were stuck on the roof of their house in damn near 9 ft of water and her bf had to swim to get the coast guards attention that tuesday...now that means they were stuck in those filthy ass places with all those people...i dont appreciate that..i mean 2 little kids..they did not have to experience such a traumatizing event...my dads mom was stuck at her house and in that filth as well and she should not have been put through that...better yet...i dont think any citizen should have been put through the shit that these people went through...i
