I wonder the same thing. It's a little different when someone's been around for awhile, but ten? Seems a little too cruel. When will you know whether it's benign or malignent? I never really knew how long these things took. (too long, right?)

I'm proud of you. That's really selfless of you to go back to help your mom out if the outcome isn't so great. A family needs to stick together during things like that. Good luck, and my best wishes to Daniel.
