Uuuuuhm.. so the one time I posted this, I had a huge author's note ahah but I'm feeling too lazy to bore you with my yabber. All I will say is that I frickin' ADORE EeTeuk << and this is NOTHING compared to how I would normally spazz << and that this fic was inspired by his beauty *duh* and various YouTube [is addictive] clips of his SPECIALNESS. <3 I don't know what the requirements are for having the authority to give out cookies, but if you'd like to identify the clips, I would be more than happy to give you.. sunflowers! XD Oh how lovely. Comments make me feel so loved. =)

EeTeuk has a busy beauty regime.

It starts from the very moment he wakes up. No matter how tired or lazy he may feel, eventually he will head to the washroom to do the usual prep and wash his face. A splash of cold water and a fluffy towel wakes him up soon enough. After all, people compliment him on his smooth skin all the time. It requires maintenance, you know.
1. One must be diligent in skin care when one is known to have oily skin.
His fresh, cool face doesn’t stay that way for long though, when he heads to the kitchen to find SungMin and KyuHyun eating breakfast, or rather, playing with it. After surviving the day’s first mini food fight, with the accepted knowledge that this is only morning, EeTeuk heads back to the bathroom to wash off the milk and crunchy cereal from his nose and cheeks.. and T-shirt. Omph. Good thing he knew not to change from his green pajamas into his white day clothes yet.

EeTeuk makes sure to put on a matching watch and perhaps, today, his black glasses before he heads out the door to pile into one of the cars with the other members. These items are important. He is responsible for making sure everyone is on schedule and he can only do so with a watchful pair of eyes.
2. One must accessorize with complimentary, but functional wear.
This is key to his role as umma. He smiles at himself for being so clever, but is quickly brought back to reality when his specs are swiftly removed from his face. Ah hey! Who- HeeChul plays around and pretends to be leader for a while. EeTeuk sighs softly and lets him. He forgot: today, HeeChul is joining them in activities. He supposes for that reason, he can let it go.. for a while.

By the middle of the day, EeTeuk is comfortable enough in his clothes but is still conscious enough to remember his lotion. Yes, the special lotion with no particular scent that he keeps in his bag and carries around everywhere he goes. It is actually a recent change in his routine, but has turned out to be very beneficial. And so he applies it purposefully.
3. Moisturize. Moisturize. Moisturize.
It’s lunch time and they’re eating with other people today, celebrating someone’s special day today and there is cake. Oh dear there is cake. The lotion he just applied is thus covered with sweet whipped cream from the fingers of his sneaky bandmates. Who this time? RyeoWook and EunHyuk this time. He catches their fingers and pretends to bite them off but let’s go and let’s them play and let’s them laugh. He suddenly feels very light-hearted. Maybe because seeing EunHyuk together with RyeoWook enjoying nothing and everything was just too lovely to dampen. He cleans off the cake and smiles. They have to leave soon, practise soon, but he decides to wait five more minutes.

EeTeuk leaves for the men’s room with his bag in hand. He mustn’t forget to brush his teeth and as he’s applying the toothpaste, someone stands quietly beside him. Someone who never used to really bother about brushing his teeth as much as EeTeuk but has lately been accompanying him. YehSung asks to join and EeTeuk tells him of course and they brush their teeth together, humming some old tune. They don’t say much but it’s pleasant. EeTeuk is glad to be brushing his teeth with YehSung.
4. Brush your teeth at least twice a day for at least two minutes, is what’s recommended.
Unfortunately not three minutes after he’s finished brushing his teeth that ShiWon and ShinDong come along with - what could it possibly be? - chocolate, naturally. And before EeTeuk can say, “I don’t like dark chocolate.” ShiWon has kindly shoved a chunk into his mouth. ShinDong pats his leader’s back as he chokes on the sudden bitterness and EeTeuk smiles at his oblivious dimpled dongsaeng, with chocolate in his teeth.

Later that night, after schedules and Sukira, EeTeuk let’s out a long with-held sigh as he collapses on the couch in the living room. Something is poking out of his jean pockets and so he pulls it out to reveal it’s identity. Mint lip chap. Ah! Such an oddly pleasant surprise he thinks and he applies some generously. No wonder his lips are always so rubbery smooth.
5. Keep your lips from drying out by using handy chapstick.
EeTeuk closes his eyes and smiles with soft lips as he can feel the slight tingling. That’s quickly swept away though when another pair of lips steal a kiss from him. He is no longer alone in his thoughts for KangIn has welcomed him home. KangIn tells him that he’s off to the kitchen to warm something up for his hyung to eat. Suddenly, DongHae glomps himself onto the couch beside his leader, a pout on the younger’s lips. This holds EeTeuk back from scolding DongHae for not being in bed, and when he reflects, it’s okay: he’s probably up waiting for Hyuk anyway. After a concerned ramble, DongHae holds his finger up and EeTeuk kisses away the booboo, culprit of the story. A mother’s touch will heal anything.

Finally, after having a bite to eat, he feels very content and relaxed after a nice shower. He smells like strawberries from his shampoo and mentally thanks KiBum for being so considerate and sweet. The quiet one rarely shows obvious affection but EeTeuk knew who secretly snuck the new bottle of his favourite shampoo into his shower after a day of being upset that the others had used it all up.
6. Shampoo and condition your hair to keep it silky and shiny. Favourite scents are a bonus!
Patting his hair dry and brushing it slowly with a comb, EeTeuk feels that there is something different in the dorm. He walks his way to the living room this time to see a missed face. HanKyung! Home from a trip that seemed to take forever. HanKyung laughs and hugs EeTeuk tight, messing up the hair he just brushed straight. But EeTeuk doesn’t think of that at all as HanKyung smiles at him as he chuckles and jokingly apologizes, fixing the perfect strands. I missed you too.

EeTeuk follows a beauty regime that never ends up as he intends, but what he doesn’t realize is that the band members who always seem to mess him up, really think that he is most beautiful just the way he is.
