how come the more i try to be close to someone the farther they seem to drift away?

i cant seem to pull myself out of this hole im sinking into.

trust me i have been there. the best thing to do is just give them some space for a while. because i have tried coming on too strong into a friendship and driven people away. i guess im too open. i wish i had some wise words that could help the situation but i really dont know much about it. the only thing i can say is that i hope whatever happens is for the best.
