okay, so i made a new lj icon, but it is saved as a .bmp image, and livejournal will not let me use that particular type of file format. it only supports PNG, GIF, or JPG. I dont know how to change my picture to that .. so if someone could tell me that would be awesome.

Open the icon up in paint and click on save as, then click the down arrow beside save as type, then just click on jpg, or whatever you need to save it as.
