take it back and get a new one!!!! Its not your fault, just explain to the sales person the situation, lol, they have no right to look at you funnny, if they do they are stupid, hahaha
oooh just take it back and explain what happend. they have to take it back b/c its poor quality of merchandise. thats HORRIBLE that that happend. if i were you, w/ your new one..only wash it when you need to wash it..actually..i wouldnt wash it, id bring it to the dry cleaner. and dont worry about asking me questions, i love to help :)

take it back. they've probably had the problem before. you don't need to throw howevermuchitwas down the drain by not getting a replacement/refund. ;)
