the past few days have been a blur!
thurs: worked then drove (in traffic) to long beach to have dinner with aaron's parents, brother and aaron for his brother's birthday (his brother had also just flown in that day). famous dave's is amazing if you love bbq. i ended up driving back to LF cuz i had to work earlier than aaron did.
fri: worked then drove to torrance (in traffic AGAIN -- death --) to have dinner with aaron's aunt (who had just flown in), aaron, his parents and his grandma. we went and saw ghosts of girlfriends past after which was cool.
sat: woke up early to drive back to irvine to work. i bought my mom a gift certificate for a facial with the girl @ my work, so after she was done, we had a nice lunch :) i enjoy hanging out with my mom. we don't get to do that very often because we're both so busy....then back up to torrance for bday stuff with aaron's dad's side of the family. we had really good mexican food and a great time. i guess i should get used to the driving if aaron and i are considering moving up here when we move out? lol.
sun: woke up early to drive home to go to church with my mommy then shopping together! i bought us lunch and then we stormed the laguna hills mall (i spaced and wanted a gap forgetting it was at mission, not laguna, however we found a lot of cute stuff elsewhere at the mall). the most exciting thing about the shopping trip:
ALL THE JEANS I TRIED ON WERE A SIZE SMALLER THAN THE LAST PAIR I BOUGHT (two sizes since i started dieting).
30 lbs down, 60 more to go. just have to keep telling myself that. another exciting fact: i paid for my 2 pairs of jeans and my 2 cardigans with cash from tips. my credit card still has a $0 balance (YESSSS). i will start using it for gas or supplies when i don't have cash on mebut otherwise, nothing.
after lunch and shopping, my mom and i drove up to torrance to aaron's grandma's and had a nice dinner. i love his family. i'm so lucky to have been welcomed as warmly as i have been :)
also, today was my birthday and i got so many bday wishes! so awesome. thank you! ♥
