What makes you think it was something you did? There are a lot of people out there like that. Those are the people that never grew up themselves. Those are the kind of men that feel like they have to act that way to keep people away from them cuz they aren't happy with themselves or feel guilty about something.

Well, he's going to be your dad forever. So I would accept his faults as best you can and build whatever sort of releationship he lets you have. I think you need to figure out why he's acting this way. Does he see it as a betrayal that you aren't living with him? Is that why he is saying wait until you're an adult, and are no longer living with your mom?

well, im kinda in the same position as you, and i totally agree w/ you that him doing stuff like that would make u not want to talk to him, but if you dont you are going to wonder for the rest of the life why he didnt talk to you and why he acts like he does, and you noe what if he does reject you at least you were the bigger person and tried to work it out. he has to live with himself for acting like such a jerk to you.
