So I've always had from around 120 to 125 volts at my house, usually about 122ish. I don't really check it on a regular basis but I usually end up doing it every few weeks or so because of something that I am doing

LOL, while I agree of your second paragraph, be aware that the customer service rep who will open your ticket, is some $8/hr phone jockey who will have noooo idea what you're talking about.
But if they come inside...THEN you can lay down the smarts. ;-)
That's true, they probably won't know what I'm talking about. They would be like "volts, what's that?" lol
I called a while ago and they sent someone out to tell me that it was because they needed another substation and if they kicked the voltage up there then I would have correct power but the people closer would have way too high because the customer step down transformers are just that, transformers, not transformers with voltage regulators bc you can't get regulators in the tens of thousands of watts range for a decent price. Anyway that was at peak AC usage on a very hot summer day and the large load was the reason, this is different.
WHen they came out though they wanted to measure it thinking I didn't know what I was doing to be able to tell them the voltage until I showed the power company guy the meter I used and then he was like "ok, that's a good meter, I don't even need to measure it, we believe you with this abnormally heavy load time" or something like that, lol.
