The Reason

“That’s confusing. But why?” Yunho ask again after recover from his shock state. He’s frowning when he hear his father words.
“Because…..Everyone’s believed Jaejoong’s was the first decedent of the black dark King of the Darkness Kingdom, the first King for that kingdom that died centuries ago. The legend said the black king possessed the great destruction power that can destroy everything that he touches…And to add, the first late king also born from half angel and devil blood make the prediction strong that he’s the one..To think about it, if we combine his power from both of his ancestor …No wonder the book choose him.” The King sighed. The previous king which is his father already tell him about the sorcerer prediction about ‘The One’…Seemed like Jaejoong fit the description. After seeing Jaejoong awaken powers, by his own eyes, no doubt the prediction was right!
“But why did they want him now?” Junsu concern voice make the other curious too since they were having the same thought in their mind. It’s just Junsu bet them to ask the question first.
“Power. They need Jaejoong power to continue stay at the top in this world. If they have Jaejoong power to support them, no one can’t stop them from controls the world. They’ll become the most powerful realm in this world…But there’s other problem. After know about Jaejoong specialty, Angel kingdom wanted him too….There’s war happened between two kingdom because of the same purpose before and it almost destroy half of this world dimension. It’s really scary!.” The King gritted his teeth….That was the damn truth and everyone can see it how greedy the two realms are. But because of it, they failed to see the suffer they caused to their own peoples.
“Uh? But..but…why Seunghyun need to er…mar…what that’s calls…ah! Blood ties with Jaejoong??” Yoochun’s frowning since he still confuse with all that about. However since Jaejoong’s involves with this matters he decide to learn and understand as much as he can to help his friend later.
“Good question Yoochun. But yes you just can say ‘marry’ it’s the same term too. Like I’ve said before. Seunghyun is the first owner of the book…In other words, he might have potential to control the book too….But it’s only happen if he have something that legally connect him with the owner now….He need the ‘connection’ to get him to the book…Before takeover of it completely…And to do that, they’ll be a price to sacrifices” The king explains it more to them. They nodded understood….Except someone who frowned hard that time.
“How that marries can give him er…..‘connection’?” Junsu ask with innocent eyes while blink his eyes looking at the king. The king coughs for moment when he heard the question.
“Is he really that naïve?” Chang Min asks the question to red face Yoochun who stared at his boyfriend with startled face.
“Yah!!! Never mind….forget that I asked!” Junsu pouted after hear Changmin words. Yoochun sighed and decide to explain it to his oh so innocent boyfriend.
“Su ah..It’s actually…The connection….Er…well…Something that we used to do on the bed.” Yoochun rubbed his back neck while looking down on the floor to hide his embarrassment. He just hopes Junsu will understand it since he already uses the easy way to describe it to him.
“Sleep?” Junsu scratches his not so itching head while blink his eyes looking at Yoochun. Yoochun jaw drop open. He can’t believe how dense his boyfriend is! The other that beside them who hear the two conversation laughed hard including the oh so cool Prince Hyunjoong.
“Aish…Come here…” Yoochun drag Junsu closer and whispered on his ear. Junsu face become redder after Yoochun told him about it. The King only can shake his head watching them. He coughs purposely to get their attention. They quickly look at him. He continues when all the eyes turned to him.
“They were trying to kill him before his full power awakens on his 17th birthday...That was the planned….but Prince Aerthis and Prince Aargon know Dark King plans. That’s why they decide to hide their prince on the earth when their small country being attacked by the darkness armies…Looking at the situation right now I guess there has been a change of plans….I was shocked too when I found out about the ‘blood ties’. I never thought they’ll use this way…especially it really risky one especially for the darkness crown prince….but I guess they really need the book….I definitely don’t know what their next plan. I suspected there’s more to come….” Everyone’s silent after the king uttered the words with worry expression on his face. They turned to the look at the body on bed and sighed….
“That’s it??” Yunho asked curiously. He believes there’s more secret behind it that his father might be hiding from him.
“That’s what I know….” The lighter king shrugged his shoulder, knowing his son will be always suspicious on him. It’s up to his son to believe or not to believe his words for now.
“Then what’s part of ‘him’ become important for this realm too?”
“How did you know?” The question startled him He quickly looks at Yunho while knitted his eyebrows together.
“Hm…I heard Changmin mention it before?” Yunho pointed to Changmin. The sorcerers gulped nervously when the king turns to look at him. The King sighed defeated. Maybe he should tell it from the beginning…..
“Ok fine. When they run away from Dark Kingdom country, they come to our country to seek protection. Your grandpa really bonded with little Prince Jaejoong so he agreed to help them. He gave pieces of land to Prince Aerthis and Prince Aragon to open a new country….But with a condition….”
“I know it!!! There’s nothing free you know.” Yunho cut his father words with smirk. The others glared at him…when he realizes his mistake for interrupting; he quickly mouthed ‘sorry’ shyly. The king shakes his head but decide to continue on the story.
“He want Prince Jaejoong for his grandchild who holder the whiter book. And this promise needs to fulfill no matter what happen. Prince Aerthis and Prince Aragon agreed.” Gasped can be hear in the room. They were confused with the sudden agreement that happened between the two generations.
“Uh? Grandpa is weird.” Yunho says, thinking his thoughts out loud, after noticing how oddly his grandfather wish was. It such a weird request when he knows his grandchildren’s that born in that time was all boys….
“Your mother and I thought the same thing too that time…But it’s turned out that he already sensed Jaejoong power since he was little. So he makes the promise.” Yunho nodded understood….The other just silent as waiting for the king to continue.
“Er…Then isn’t Jaejoong should just wait the next granddaughter or something rather than marry with a man???” Hyunjoong asked curiously since he thought the agreement was absurd!
“Hey!!!”Yunho hissed and then glared at the angel prince.
“What?????” Hyunjoong glare back with irritated face looking at him.
“I lo…hm…like him you know…I don’t mind to marry him!” Yunho state clearly makes all the eyes look at him. Well that definitely shocked them since their thought Yunho was straight healthy man all this time…except the sorcerer, Changmin who grinning at him.
“There are other condition that I forget to mention….The child must be in the same generation of Jaejoong…He wanted it that way because he know only holder of the book can control Jaejoong’s power. And that time, only Yunho was the same generation with him plus he also the white book holder.”
“Geez..why don’t you just tell me before Father?” Yunho smile widely after hear his father explanation. That’s definitely enough to shut up the other prince mouth!
“We just want you to know him first before decide rather to continue the engagement or not Yunho. We want you to learn and know his power first before continue..hm the marry thing…We thought you’ll object it since..er..He’s a man….”
“Hm…that’s make sense.” Yunho nodded lightly. Prince Hyunjoong can’t help but snorted at him.
“Yunho ah…Have you ever wonder why there is restriction for you to touch Jaejoong??” His father sudden question makes him knitted his eyebrows. He of course wondered about it too but every time he tries to asks, his father or whoever know the reason quickly change the topic to make him forget or give up about the subject.
“Ah..That’s right! I wonder about it too….” Yunho tapped his chin while looking at his father curiously.
“You can’t touch each other until he cans perfectly handling his own power. You know every holder have their own specialty right? Beside the powerful destruction magic inside his book, he also cans control all elements on the world as air, earth water and fire….. He cans destroy anything around these four elements with just blink of his eyes.....However yours specialty still uncover yet….. But we suspect grandpa know something that we don’t know about your power. He said, he saw you two playing in the garden …Jaejoong was angry and suddenly release his own power…But then you come to him and hugged him to calm him down like nothing’s happened…...That’s the time that your grandpa decide you’re the one for Jaejoong’s. Your specialty power maybe got something to do with Jaejoong dangerous power….” Yunho frowned when he hear his father reason.
“That’s weird.hm… I’ve touched him before….but nothing happened.” Yeah of course he remember the day his undercover day with Changmin before…He only got a little memory of it…But he sure he touched him that day. It’s not he doesn’t believe it, it’s just there are few event that he unfortunately touched Jaejoong but he didn’t even see any change to the latter at all.
“You’re wrong son. Every times you touch him, it’s like you give your energy to him… Since his power is not stable yet, your energy flowed easily into him and make him unleash his power without him noticing it. Snow falling in the spring, and then he suddenly sparkling…This is some example that you can’t notice that time. You disturb his stabilization power which is really dangerous for him and human around him. That’s why we prevent you to touch him until he learns to control his own power.”
“Now…I understand.” Yunho nodded understood. No wonder his parents and even the sorcerer prevented him from getting closer to Jaejoong. They were afraid it’ll effect the fallen Prince’s power….and at the stage since Jaejoong can’t handle his own power it’ll dangerous to him even the people around him.
“I….I’ve got to go….I will leave him here for now. Take care of him.” Hyunjoong sighed. Everything so new to him….He doesn’t know who to believe yet…. He need time to think about it all over again before decide his cousin fate.
“Sure we will take care of him. He’s my fiancé after all…” Yunho smirked as soon as he saw Hyunjoong look at him. He definitely know the man will fuming at him..But yet he can’t help to say the words clearly to that prince. Hyunjoong halted his movement when he heard Yunho words…
“I’ll not approve it!!!” He said it dangerously while glaring at Yunho.
“Ah…..You can’t do anything about it! It’s your Auntie Aerthis or should I say my further mother in law promise remembers?” Yunho added more. This time Hyunjoong quiet for a moment. He definitely dumbfounded with that statement…If what the lighter king said is the truth..then….
“Aish!!!It’ll never happen!” He shakes his head few time tries to deny it…He won’t approve it until he know the truth.
“It’s not for you to decide my ‘prince’ or soon to be my cousin in law!” Yunho smile widely knowing the victory already on his hand. Hyunjoong glared at him for the last time before vanishing to the thin air….
“So….that’s what I am….” The soft whispered startled everyone who was too busy looking at the two bickering princes that time. They quickly look at the bed where the figure that was lay on it before, slowly sit up while looking at them calmly.
