Got ahold of my friend Jim that I haven't spoken to in a while, and we're going to put my exhaust on tonight. Awwwh yeah. Then I just need some inspection, and I'm rockin' like Dokken.

Sounds really fuckin' nice, actually. Unfortunatley, local law enforcement doesn't share my rotary enthusiasm, and my lack of inspection just compounds the problem.

Looks like I need to replace the damn exhaust manifold too. Thankfully, I've got a spare, but fucked if I've got somewhere to do the work. I'm just gonna have to pay Jim to do it at his work.

I've got a feeling this car is gonna cost me a bit more then I had expected. Perhaps I should have just saved up the cash and bought the turbo version.

do you have access to the manifold, or is there shit in the way? although steel bolts suck when used in a 1000 degree plus environment, an exhaust manifold should just be nuts and bolts work... Of ocurse I am used to overhead valve longitudinal engines. Just so's ya know, use brass bolts on exhaust, it won't corrode.

honestly, I haven't even looked. The homeowners association here prohibits any kind of car repairs in the parking lot, so regardless if I can get to it or not, I can't do it here. The exhaust was pretty much a piece of cake, just tossed it up on jack stands, took out 2 bolts, hangers etc, and that was pretty much it, but it was a bitch cause I couldn't do it here.

Wankle's closer to 2000 degrees. Yowza! Exhaust gaskets are a bitch to get too, cause you can't use regular ones. I should just grow a mullet and buy a camaro.
