How American is that? I'm sorry if you believe that dissent is a bad thing, but as Patrick Henry once said,
"I know not what course others may take, but for me, it's liberty or death!"
Dissent is good thing.
For that matter, did you even READ the damn thing? 90% of it talks about how this country needs to be brought together, not torn apart, by this STUPID moral argument. Justice. Liberty. Freedom. These are what our country is founded apon.
Another thing: Say they legalized gay marriage. Would you move out of the country? That's the most un-american idea ever. You don't move cause you don't like it here.

anyway, people have to be pretty stupid not to accept civil unions.....
