I'm looking for at most four people to create a J-rock (yaoi) RP with me.
The idea has been nagging at the back of my head for quite some time now and since it would be hard to ask for people from larger RP communities for help, why not ask in where the J-rock RPers lurk? So it's named Heresy Geisha (hurr hurr Gazefag here).
PLOT YAY.
The original plot for this one is that it revolves around Japanese artists. Members are supposed to be grouped into five: language artists, music artists, performing artists, visual artists, and jack of all trades. So basically it's an art-based RP set in Tokyo, revolving on their lives, their careers, etc, and the main idea for it is that everybody has an artist inside of them even if they don't know it themselves (their muns/players do but you get my point). BUT. Although the general idea is nice and all, I'm not contented with it. Basically because a real life RP like that would just revolve around character drama and as much as we all love that, it can get quite sickening at some time, so I expanded the idea a bit. Besides I want action! >_<;;
The added idea actually is inspired from Gazette's Linda~candydive pinky heaven~ and it kinda says something about youth breaking away from rules. Well it's far from that, but I thought, 'youth taking over Tokyo.' May it be in the field of art, politics, academe, yakuza, or whatever field I've forgotten to add. General idea is that the youth is taking a stand blahblah although it doesn't necessarily mean rebellion, just that they're excelling at it. Of course in this kind of RP it's okay if every character may not want to excel in those terms; variation is very much encouraged.
And it's very much yaoi, mmmmmm. That doesn't mean though that females or straight people or yuri aren't allowed, because it is. ^^

Well of course not all J-rockers are young, and though that might not sound much of a problem, it does for me. >>;; Anyways, other problems I have are:
LOCATION.
I already made a board for it, and it's in InvisionFree since LJ comms confuse me waaaaaaaay too much. Besides, it allows long posts compared to LJ comments (I'm not looking for a thousand words every time though, around three sentences/100 words or so would be fine as long as you get your point across and you write nicely xDD) and boards are much more flexible, me thinks. Plus we could have pretty skins and pretty avatars and signatures and everything snazzy! I know you want that too~
WORK, UGH.
You don't have to worry about anything much except for the plot and managing the board and basically keeping it up. I'm pretty decent with graphics and I already have some rules written out, FAQs, profile templates and those other stuff can be dealt with later. But if you're experienced with IF and graphics and other stuff that would be lovely too. If you're interested to learn more about IF though, I can teach you too. ^^

- I only have a vague idea what this RP should be (and I badly want to do it!)
- I can't do this alone (I don't want this idea go to waste ;_;)
- I don't know what places to have in this RP
- Not sure whether the characters should only be limited to J-rock/other famous people (i.e. Uruha, Shinya, Wataru, Hamasaki Ayumi, etc.) or let people have their original characters and have the famous people as their playbys, but definitely we'd have the J-rockers as themselves, though the players can tweak their personalities and other stuff.
- I suck at advertising, and if you suck at it too, I guess we can just find others to advertise for us, haha
