In about a month, Till and I will be the proud parents of a one year old. While its only temporary, we are still excited. Till's brother and sister in law are both in the Army. They are both being called to some sort of training at the same time. Till and I have been chosen to be his long term care provider. I have kindly been lent a crib, but

There are several 2nd hand stores in our area.. one in LaPorte, one of Fairmont.. Walmart has some pretty cheap-o (ish) items.. what about the parents? Do they have things they can loan you? I would.. but.. I'll kinda be using them pretty quick-like myself. :/

Sorry to hear about Till's job. Yay on the toddler. Now I get the day care question.

Well they live in Maryland so I wanted to avoid asking for anything large. This will throw me into mother hood and make me see if its something I really want since I am on the fence about it now.

It'll give you a small taste.
But trust me... when I say that with your child, it's different. The love that you feel for your own child is different... regardless of who the child is that you're caring for... the patience you feel with your own children... is different. Even moreso than the patience you have with Till's daughter....

So don't base your motherhood ENTIRELY on this experience. If it's a horrible one.. I can understand. But if it's even remotely fun, easy, a blessing to you... your own child will be that much more.
