i've given up that obligatory love for your parents thing, but you know my situation. i love you too!!
romantic love is complicated. i may be engaged, but i hardly think myself a specialist of any sort. i think it exists as a type of friend-love, but is still innately different. i think there's equal amounts of obligation on both counts, but is hardly the drama that makes me was to weep and throw up at the same time.
all i can tell you is that when you finally *feel* differently about someone, then you know you're in love. if you can tell that person absolutely ALL your faults, your shortcomings and have that person tell you all of theirs.... if you can still fell absolutely *HAPPY* with them, then you're in love.
in my case, falling in love caused a f*cking violin to sound in my head every time i spoke to him.
