Driving in Jersey is pretty awful- take it from someone who learned to drive there ;) Although, if you really want to see some awful driving, check out Pennsylvania or Connecticut.
I don't think I've ever seen what happened to you, but yeah, not only are a lot of the bridges improperly marked, half the time they're one-lane only, and yet traffic can go both ways. DX It's so confusing.
Indeed! Haven't been to Connecticut yet, but I've been mostly fine in Pennsylvania so far, save for traffic circles which I LOATHE. The one in Gettysburg was especially horrible.
I just don't understand why they can't take down the wrong signs. I did all that freaking out over nothing! ;-; I dread getting sent back there.
I say we burn Jersey to the ground and start from scratch!!
I thought Atlanta was okay, especially since I won't ever have to go into the city proper. But traffic on 285 can get pretty, uh, intense, for sure. >.o
Fear not, anon! I'm trying to be more active on Dreamwidth, and crossposting is how I am achieving it, because I am too lazy to type or even copypaste separate entries. XD
I do intend to stay on LJ, and I'm so flattered that you like my stuff! <3

Glad to hear you didn't have any accidents though, despite the crazy roads!
