BOTCON PICTURES?!
A while back I all-too-presciently reported on Twitter that I had loaded pictures from my phone onto my laptop, so I could make a Botcon post "sometime this year." Well, with my customary promptness, that sometime is now. So here's some pictures!
I got into Pasadena on Friday afternoon, after the early-bird session was done. I found myself a motel room that was a reasonable rate and explored the area. One of my most exciting purchases of the weekend was made in a game shop on the corner near my motel. Katamari Damacy, woooooo!
The next morning, Skywarp and I got breakfast and then headed over to the convention center.
I met up with dragondancer515 and we compared Skywarps!
COSPLAY PICS!! There were so many good ones, OMG. My favorite was Sergeant Duck's amazing TFP Wheeljack. I got to help her carry it over and spot a bit on Sunday. The workmanship on it was amazing.

Undoubtedly the most adorable cosplay was the magical-girl MTMTE Tailgate. She was so cute, there are no words.

One of my favorite entries from the art competition. The canvas wasn't supposed to be ripped, but I felt like it added to the piece. Serendipitous!

I spent most of the day with Razzie, dragondancer515, tainry, and various other people whose names I can't remember, oops. It was a lot of fun, we hung out and did silly things and went to dinner and then I got Razzie and Dragon cheesecake from Cheesecake Factory! It was delicious. I also bought some prints and stuff to send to people. I... might still have a few things to send? >__> I can't quite remember. /forgetful and flaky
The day after Botcon, I went out to the Aquarium of the Pacific and took a whale-watching trip! But that's for another post.
