well i guess it's about time i update this thing again. i'm at my house right now (in Mahes, south of Amman) and i'm just sitting here; my uncle and electritian are leaving, i told them where and how to set up the network; the whole house is gonna be wired

I'm not sure how much international phone cards are there, but Joyce picked up a 2-and-a-half hour phone card in Thailand for the equivalent of $25. It's another option if you can't unlock your cell-phone.
