What You Missed: Part I, "The Finger"

Okay, hi there. I am still kicking. These last few weeks or so have been nothing but completely insane. In fact, you have missed so much that I will have to catch you up in installments. Really. Allow me to start from the beginning...

What You Missed: Part I, "The Finger"I've been fervently working on a costume for a convention. I know, not ( Read more... )

Although I am quite sorry to hear about this unfortunate incident, I literally LAUGHED OUT LOUD to this entry. I love the way you write - it's colloquial, like you're speaking directly to me, lol.

Anyway, I look forward to Part II! I have been slacking off MAJOR on my LJ comments/posts. I've been wrapping up the semester, and it's been HARD with grades, finals, homework, etc...so, maybe I'll have to follow in your footsteps and start updating! :)

Hah, well at least I made you laugh!

It's ridiculous how much I want to talk about. Just so much has gone on - I look forward to your posts, too!

Wow. That nurse sounds like a BITCH. Why did they not ask Zach what had happened to you? Did they think HE did it? When my brother broke his arm, they wouldn't let my mom see him because they thought she did it (and he was only 5!).

She was! I am still floored by it. Luckily they didn't accuse Zack of anything. I probably would have lost my fucking mind if they had tried to separate us.

I hear it happens a lot with parent/child or spouses that they accuse the other of doing something. Ridiculous.

Holy crap... I am glad that you are okay now. What a fucking bloody horrible thing. The only time I've ever been in that much pain was when I crashed into a brick wall speeding down a very steep hill.

Yikes. I think a brick wall collision trumps my finger. I'm glad you're alright!

Holy crap.

Did you take the Vicodin? If you did, then ABSOLUTELY fire off a letter to the hospital! Heck, you might want to do so anyway. And post this in bad_service, too.

I took the Vicodin. Thankfully it was only one and it was just the once. I need to write the hospital, but it's hard to bother complaining when I have so much else going on. I would hate to spend my time writing them and just have it ignored. Hopefully I can find some time this week.

You can probably find an e-mail address on their website. I e-mailed the hospital where I had surgery after a security guard was rude to me at my pre-op appointment. I got a formal letter of apology, and the guard was reprimanded. It made me feel better, at least ...
