So this is what i found out from math class a few days ago; if someone were to consume no more then 3,500 calories a week, then you are guaranteed to loose weight, one or more pounds a week, depending upon how much you exercise...told my mom and she's all jazzed about it. I heard a different version of this on the news once. But it doesn't sound exactly the same. It explained that you were allowed to eat any where from 1,000-1,500 calories a day. But you had to exercise and burn off half of them. So it might actually be the same thing as yours, (because 3,500/7=500 and 1,000/2=500). Hah, nevermind. My comment just proved itself pointless :(
And I really don't think any person could function properly, or correctly on 450/500 calories a day o_o
