actually the Red Sox have the 2nd largest payroll in the major league, and are one all-star player away from being where the Yankees are with their payroll... And if you were an owner of a team, and you had unlimited resources.. you wouldnt try and get the best possible team? God knows I would try myself... Regardless what you think... George is an amazing buisness man and he wants to have the best team since he has the resources... AAAAAAAAAND.... I would hate a team thats beat out the Red Sox every year too. But you can call that envy.

good ol' pussy anonymous posts. and i realize that the red sox have the 2nd largest payroll in the major leagues... now. they didn't in the past. would i like to see the red sox win as much as the yankees, absolutely, i just feel that any yankees fan that lives in massachusetts is a band wagon jumper. you get into baseball and go "hey, might as well like a winning team instead of the hometeam." red sox fans are more dedicated that's all i'm saying. and once again, fuck the yankees.
